Our plan for Thursday morning is a crag climbing day at Red Rock National Conservation Area – sport climbing and top roping. There are also many other non-climbing activities to do in and around the Canyon – see Activities page.

Viva Las Schmidts Rehearsal

Just a little rehearsal wedding warm-up at the nearest chapel — Western themed encouraged! [Separate Invite]

What: We’re kicking off the shenanigans with a little something we’re calling…our “rehearsal” (except it may actually be legally binding and Elvis will be there).
Space is limited, but if you’re up for cowboy hats, weird old Vegas charm, and a wonderfully unserious ceremony – please join us. This event is especially for friends and family not attending the canyon ceremony.
Western-themed attire (think bolo ties, boots, denim-on-denim) highly encouraged.
Where: Viva Las Vegas Chapel 1205 Las Vegas Blvd S, Las Vegas Nevada
When: Ceremony begins at 6PM; however, we ask everyone to arrive at the chapel by 5:30PM.

Welcome Drinks
Join us for a drink at the Red Rock Casino’s Lobby Bar!

Post chapel rehearsal wedding, we’ll be heading to the Red Rock Casino Lobby Bar for some informal drinks—come say hi, grab a cocktail, and settle into the weekend!

Saturday
Wedding Ceremony - Private

Details
What: We’ll be exchanging vows in a small, intimate ceremony with close family and friends.
As much as we would love to have everyone there, space is limited — a separate invite was sent to those attending.
We can’t wait to celebrate together with everyone at the party afterward!

Saturday

The Main Event
Join us for the Schmidt Show Hotel Party Extravaganza!
Details
What: We’ll kick off the night with a few speeches, then keep the good vibes going with great music, plenty of drinks, and lots of time for mingling and hanging out.
Expect a silent disco on the terrace (bring your fur coats!), the World Series playing for anyone who wants to check the score, and maybe even a round of pool if you’re feeling competitive.
Buffet-style food and appetizers will be flowing all night—no formal sit-down meal, just a full-on party!
Where: Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa, One-80 Suite. When you arrive at the hotel, please let hotel staff you are here for the Schmidt Reception. They will direct you to the VIP elevators to the top floor.
